Join Us

We are always looking for new members, both visually impaired and sighted.

Even if you don't want to act there's plenty to do in the Venturers. Maybe you would like to work behind the scenes at one of our performances, such as operating the lights and sound, helping with the make up and costumes or working at the front of house selling programs. Being part of the Venturers is Seriously Fun!

We are also looking for people to help us with fundraising, whether it be a collection at one of London's many train and underground stations, selling raffle tickets at one of our events or organising a quiz night.

Our annual subscription is Ł5.00 or Ł50.00 for Life Membership.

As a member of the Venturers you will be entitled to:

opportunities to take part in productions or rehearsed readings, either as an actor or in one of the many backstage roles
free participation in our monthly drama workshops (Ł2.00 for non members).
periodical members’ newsletter with features, details of future Venturers’ and professional theatre productions, lectures and other events in London.

Occasional, informal visits to the theatre and related events are arranged.

We will invite you to one of the Group’s event where you can meet other members and decide whether the Venturers is for you.
